Ajitha is a GP Trainer and a registered trainer for the FRSH (previously known as the Faculty of Family Planning). She also enjoys teaching medical students communication and consultation skills which are essential to General Practice.

She is particularly interested in Clinical Commissioning and is keenly involved in this within the locality in order to help provide quality health care to meet the needs of the local community.

In addition, Ajitha is an examiner for the medical school at Warwick University and a GP Appraiser for South Staffs PCT which involves annual review of other GPs to ensure good and safe practice.
