Please ring before 10.00 am.
Be prepared to tell the receptionist what is wrong so a decision can be made for need and urgency. Often all that may be necessary is for the doctor to give advice over the telephone.
Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. Visits are performed for medical reasons, not for transport problems.
Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
