Home visits

If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.

To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice before 10am if possible.

Home visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. Visits are performed for medical reasons, not for transport problems.

Non-urgent advice: Please remember

Several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit.

There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.
